To complement our existing Senior Shopper program, this app allows volunteers to customize their
profile by selecting the counties where they can serve. Order notifications and reminders are sent automatically. Additionally, check-in and upload required proof of delivery photos to complete their assignment, along with the ability to track their volunteer experience and hours.
This app is only for current volunteers who have been screened and trained by Jersey Cares. If you would like to join please note we only accept volunteers over the age of 18, who live or work in any of the 21 counties of New Jersey. Please note, if you have not been trained all volunteer opportunities will be locked.
Jersey Cares, a nonprofit organization, established in 1993, recruits and engages volunteers in rewarding, effective efforts that address community-identified needs. We partner with local nonprofits to identify needs and implement volunteer projects to meet these needs.
ALL VOLUNTEERS participating in the Jersey Cares Senior Shopping Program must comply with the New Jersey Department of Health and Human Services rules and regulations, as reviewed in the Senior Shopper volunteer training.
